so my qestions .. can i upgrade the video card. i mean can i transfer the gefroce 7600 from my old sony vaio laptop to the new one ? which one can work?
-
Neither laptop will be able to be upgraded. You cannot even pull the old GPU out either.
-
you would be better off getting something better. sony is ok with laptop but get something from a laptop dedicated company.
-
All depends on MXM, I mean I'm not sure If sony does and with the 2nd option it wouldn't matter if it was MXM or not as Integrated Graphics can't be replaced as it is soldered on the Mobo.

the problem is i have 2 offer of CR Laptop
Model CR520
the first one (its about 1332$)
2.1GHZ
2GBRAM
250GB
ATI Mobility Radeon™ X2300 128Mb
the secend one (its about 1100$)
2.4GHZ
3 GB
320Gb
Mobile Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator X3100 with Intel® Clear Video Technology with Total Available Graphics Memory of 358MB
in case i hv 2 Gb RAM from my old FE laptop so i 'll install them in the new one if can be
so what do u advisie me to take
by the way im not playin games on the laptop just watchin Movies in HD 720p qulity -
Integrated GPU will be fine for watching movies. (yes even HD 720p movies)
@Tolkann, barely any notebooks uses MXM anyway. Certainly not mainstream notebooks such as Sony. -

None at all.
