    ux280p- what is "active off mode" in the video driver mean?

    In the information for my 945GM video driver I have :
    Suspend= supported
    Hybernation= supported
    Active off mode= not supported.

    I tried to upgrade to a new driver and now its:
    Suspend= Not supported
    Hybernation= Not supported
    Active off mode= supported

    Its backwards. I changed back to the old drivers, but what is Active off mode? Was it better?
