    hi guys
im looking into buying the s series, prob the 15 inch
i will work a lot with audio ,and i really need to know if the 'stereo mix" feature is present in this series,
for those of you not familiar with stereo mix,it allows you to record sounds directly via the soundcard

if anybody will be willing to check, its easy to find

    click control panel
    click hardware and sound
    click manage audio devices
    click recording
in the recording box right click than check " show disabled devices"

the stereo mix should appear in the box,...unless is cut off by the manufacturer,

    thank you so much

Just use Virtual Audio Cable, it's a lot more flexible

A different audio driver might unlock the stereo mix feature. My Vaio FZ showed up the stereo mix option with a non-Sony audio driver.
