    vaio S15 lan cable block 3g connection

    hi all, in my new S15 the gobi 3000 3g work perfectly, but if i plug in the ethernet cable in the lan slot this block the 3g connection of the gobi 3000, anyone have some advice?

    Well this is only my assumption and speculation: When the laptop sees the Ethernet connection wouldn't it be logical to disable 3g connection so data is only transmitted over Ethernet instead of 3g. This will help save power and data usage over 3g (many providers have stupid caps). However this can be a pain if you're trying to allow other access to your 3G connection.
    My current laptop does this, when I plug in Ethernet WiFi is disabled unless I tell windows that other devices can use it as a hotspot.
