This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     I've recently had to reinstall windows (xp) on my laptop and after reinstalling most of the drivers of the sony site i have reached a problem. some of the drivers (mainly the sound driver) will not install. if anyone knows how to get the audio working on my laptop please tell me.

    ive solved the trouble. go to control panel then system, then hardware, then device manager....

    disable all uninstall hardware. then download the audio driver from sony-asia.com.

    it should solve the problem.
