Hello all! New to the forum. I have a sony VPCCW21FX. Unknown battery condition, new dc jack. I have proper voltage to the jack, and from the jack to the board. That's where it ends. I have +19.3 VDC at ALL SEVEN pins(blades) to the battery connector. Regulator issue? I'm not sure. This seems to be just outside of my knowledge. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I would hate to see this laptop go to the scrap pile.

It is impossible to have all pins of battery connector at DC input voltage.
At battery connector, 2 outside pins are +VBAT and GND. All other inner pins are connected to system controller.
Do you know how to measure using voltmeter?
