    P0172531 seems to be the part number, however i can only locate new parts for 100 EUR, which is utterly insane... (gf slammed her laptop shut rather hard and need a new module it seems)

    vaio line up seem to be a maze to me, any chance there are any other compatible modules? is it just a simple USB interface to the webcam/mic? in which case i should be fine splicing cables from something else that fits?

    anything useful would be appreciated, as all wise and great google doesn't appear to provide all the answers... :/
