Well, yesterday I decided to reinstall windows on my vaio notebook. I used a copy of Windows XP Pro I had and grabbed all the drivers I needed from the sony vaio support site.
Everything seemed to be working fine, but when I tried to turn it off the computer just showed "Windows is shutting down", but never ended....
I traced the problem to USB drivers, if i remove al USB root hubs from system, device manager, the computer shutdowns/restarts just fine.
Anyone had this problem or has some drivers that work properly with xp pro? The motherboard is an intel 945 something :)

    help!!! :)
