    Hey! Ibought a sony vaio a few months ago and I can't find out how to get rid of the FN lock on this key. I can use the right hand side of my keyboard as it comes up with nuimbers, not etter and is fristrating me!!!I casked a colleague and he said that you unlock it by pushing CTRL a shift and whatnot but it still doesnt work... Can any one help me? thanks in advance! ;)

    is the Num Lock function on by any chance? because from wot u've described that seems like the case...if so all you need to do is hit the "Num Lk" key on the top right next to the "F12" button and it should allow you to enter letters instead of numbers on the right side of your keyboard....
