    Hi,

    I understand that it restores the vaio it's original state, but does it resolves problems caused by virus?

    Also in order to restore, will you always have to run through the programs in windows? if that's the case if the program was corrupted, then how would one be able to restore it?

    Is that a dummy guide of step by step of how one might be able to restore the vaio?

    You should have a recovery partition on your hard drive - try pressing F10 when you start it up (before Windows loads).

    And yes, it will take care of the virus because it deletes ALL your files.
