hi. it seems as though either S1 or S2 button works both not both at the same time. when i have S1 set to Mute and S2 set to launch Firefox, only S1 works but S2 would open the S Button Settings. does anyone have similar problem with their Vaio S Buttons?

Try re-installing, and reconfiguring the buttons. This sounds like a configuration problem more than anything else.
