is there much of a difference between this sz320cp to the newer sz models? i think it's only the cpu platform difference?
what would be a reasonable price for an used one in good condition?
any advices will be appreciated.

The main differences are only that the sz6 includes an intel gma x3100 with nvidia 8400gs, also the processor are the new santa rosa platform, the rest of the components are basically the same.

hp1912, up to the SZ5 series the only differences I am aware of is CPU, RAM and HDD. The motherboard chipsets are the same.
Buy the cleanest SZ you can find, even down to an SZ1 and upgrade the CPU, RAM and HDD. That's what I did.
I bought a very well looked after SZ2 Premium, upgraded the RAM to 2GB, HDD to Hitachi 7K200 and once my CPU clears customs I'll have a T7600 (core 2 duo 2.33Ghz) for a total cost of what a lesser specced newer SZ5 non-Premium would have cost. -
The motherboard chipsets are not the same, the 100/200/300 series are 945 while the 500/600 series are 965.
