    vaio update on a clean windows install

    I just formatted my new vaio s, tried installing vaio update, it went through the install process and said that it was successful, but I can't actually find the shortcut anywhere, sony's website says that I need to install EVERY driver on a clean install before installing the update, I've tried installing most and installing update again and still doesn't work. has anyone been able to successfully install vaio update on a clean install of windows?

    I wouldn't install the Vaio Update. Sony rarely provides driver updates for their machines. You can check for updates manually in the support site.
