The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    hi people, id like to say before i start is that i know this is a notebook forum, but you lot seem a nice bunch thatll help me :).

    lets get started.. :), im getting a sony vaio vgn-fj3m/w off a friend soon for FREE :) (well gotta pay for postage =/ lol) and the screen doesnt turn on =/. any ideas on what it could be? (please be slow with me lol im new to this kind of thing with rams and stuff lol soooo confusing!! lol)
