    hey guys,

i'm getting a new laptop since i just sold my macbook and im considering the z (waiting till the new macs come out)

quick question: is there a decrease in battery life when playing blu ray dvds vs regular dvds? i would assume so since hd content ought to tax the gpu a little more... but does anyone know for sure?

    thanks

Yes. Any hi-def content will require much more processing power.
