    vertical scroll in the Z/touchpad settings

    I just noticed that the vertical scroll feature in the touchpad of my z is not working. How would I change this? thanks

    Either you must install the touchpad driver or, if you have already done this, you must find the setting for it in the Mouse applet found in the Control Panel.

    that's odd, mine was enabled when i got it...

    By that you mean you have the driver installed and the feature enabled? Check that the touchpad driver is working with Task Manager.

    i'll do that when i get home... and yah, the feature works. i didn't install the driver myself, i just noticed that i could scroll using the far right hand side of the track pad.

    emm, my last laptop hp dv4000 has same problem as u after i reinstalled xp without using recover cd. it never work again. but ur one is really weird. did u try to email sony? sometimes, they will give u good opinion to fix it.

    I haven't tried contacting sony, but it seems that the touchpad is acting up. It seems very sensitive as well as the vertical scroll issue. thanks

    does anyone know how to change the touchpad settings?

    i recall a screen which set the surface used to control the cursor and such. But I can't access it using the typical 'control panel'-->'mouse' method
