    incredible nosiy.l have bouth 2 laptop and two same (sony 450N/c)

    l think, vista is bas system.

    someone is narmally fans.ın fact much more fan sound another laptop for example dell

    but the other laptop (second sz450n/c) more more more noisy.

    what are you thing about this noisy ?

    it's normally or not normally

    first sz 450 8 level sound
    second sz 450 10 level

    l think for example dell e1505 5 level sound

    Have you check the temperature of the processor. If it is high, then that may be causing the fan to spin at a faster rate, and cause the noise. Also, it may be beneficial to clean out the vents of the notebook, and remove any otf the dust that has accumalated. Have a look at the Cooling Guide for more information.

    Pretty sure that's not normal; my SZ460 is normally pretty silent; even when the fans are on at full blast (i.e. if I do something that pushes the CPU temps really high), it's not all that loud.

    vaio power management, fan speed 1 level,,,,, 5 level

    now 1 level and is normally but l am arcitechture student and autocad
    3max sketchup 3d modeling 5 level for high performance

    5 level : high noisy and high performance

    if you push both Sz450 to 100% CPU usage, and one is louder than another notebook, then you really have a problem, try get it exchanged.
