    I have a sony vaio notebook
    its model VGN-SZ23GP
    from sony-asia , downloaded all original drivers
    istalled them
    and installed software patches
    but i can not solve my problem
    i can't use fn keys
    help me please

    Look for a clean install thread here for the SZ model. There is one and it will give you detailed instructions on a SZ clean install. As with all Sony models it takes more than just installing the drivers. There are some auxiliary apps that are involved as well. Also, and this is VERY IMPORTANT, the sequence in which you install the apps and drivers is critical to the proper operation of the machine. This is so important that you might very well need to start the process over again to get the order correct.
