can i change my vaio FZ190 vista 32-bit to the 64-bit version?? is there any incompartibility with the notebook hardware??

You need to reinstall the OS to move to 64-bit. Make sure Sony has released 64-bit drivers, and that any peripherals (printers, scanners, etc) have 64-bit drivers available.
Frankly, you don't need 64-bit unless you have 4GB of RAM or some enormous hard drive array. -

i have 4gb of ram and x64 seems to operate a little faster (just guessing for now. i'll benchmark later). however, sony doesn't have any 64 bit device drivers right now. none. so, i would wait 'til sony releases 64 bit drivers... and let's really hope that they do!
since i'm dual-booting with x86, i'll keep my x64 (can you even return software?) and hope that they release the drivers soon...
