    hey i just received my sz4mn/b, and was planning on doing a semi-clean install, but i realised it came with a vista upgrade disk. can i just use this to do a clean install? will this install the drivers i need? is there any benefit of doing this over a semi-clean, or visa versa?

    I'm assuming Sony is including the Vista Express Upgrade kit with their newer computers, and as far as I know, you can only upgrade from XP to Vista using these discs, not do a clean install.

    The 400 series SZ comes with Vista preinstalled. The Vista Express Upgrade was only available to those who bought a Sony PC October2006 to March 2007. Sony does not include any restore disks with any of their computers instead there is a hidden partition which is used for restore/reformat.
