    webcam problems

    hi,
    ive got a sony VGN-FE800, with a built in webcam, its a couple hours old. i got one, and the webcam only worked right after a restart. if i closed the sony webcam program and then reopened it, it would say the webcam is in use by another programs, so i went top best buy and got a new one, and the same thing is happening. does anyone have any ideas as to what i can do?!

    I have experienced the similar problem with MacBook Pro runnining Vista. The problem happens when I came back from the hibernation mode. However, it works fine if I reboot the system. Does the probme still persist when you reboot the system?

    did your webcam record your videos properly? Mine speeds up the videos like crazy when I try playing the file, but the audio is at normal speed...
