Hello!
So traditionally I've been a Dell fan, but recently there have been a plethora of issues, including DoA machines, poor technical server incompetence, and bad customer service. I've been researching laptops for a while, and Sony struck my eye. A couple of buddies have Sony's and are pleased. I know that all brands are subject to having its share of issues, but I'm done with Dell. However, without further ado, I purchased this last night:

My order is in processing, however I'm just curious what the different statuses are on-line so I can track it. Also it seems this community is very friendly and knowledgeable, so I look forward to giving feedback once my machine is received.
Thanks. (I would search but I am running off to a meeting - so sorry!)

can anyone help me with this question
-
From my experience, online statuses from sonystyle are not very accurate, their e-mail alerts were better. BUT notice that I am in Europe and that the Eyjafjallajökull (volcano from Iceland) chooses to erupt one day before my laptop should have been shipped...
Otherwise, basically statuses should be :
- order processing
- production
- assembly
- shipping
what are the different order statuses? (new future sony owner)
