after you order a laptop is the money supposed to be taken out of your accout within the next few days, or is it after the laptop has shipped or what?

just wondering because the money for my laptop was 'ready to be taken out' as in it was no longer in my 'available balance'.. but then a few days afterwards it went bank into my account?

The process is always slightly different with different companies.

    I haven't tried SonyStyle.

But Adobe actually charged my account 1 or 2 days after the software was delivered.
Amazon generally charges my Account just before the order is shipped.

I used PayPal at SonyStyle. They only charged my PP account when the computer shipped. I didn't see any option for a bank account other than PayPal.

With credit cards, they typically authorize the amount when you order and make the actual charge when it ships.
