You can... but, you need to buy the daughterboard... as well as the Gobi card itself and route the antennae through the LCD panel (or through your case somewhere, doesn't really matter... i don't think). It's been discussed a bit around here... and i don't think anyone has tried it because you gotta buy all the things extra too. If you get it to work, post pics. (you can look for pics around here, there's tons)

You need to buy the daughter board and FFC cable
    here are the links

1-837-478-11 - Sony Laptop Miscellaneous Parts
Amazon.com: Mobile Broadband Powered By Gobi: Electronics
You are if you get the rest of the parts

I am doing it, I have the parts on order. The GOBI is coming today and I should have the daughterboard and FFC by the end of the week. Antennas are still an issue. One idea I have is to replace the WiFi with this WiFi/BT card Logic Supply - Leaders in Mini-ITX & Small Form Factor Solutions I have this card but haven't had time to try it yet.

I then I have an extra antenna, and I only need to install one more antenna to get everything hooked up.

I don't know the part numbers for the GOBI antennas that go inside the screen. If anyone does know I would love to hear about it.
