I did a Clean Vista isntall for my notebook, I realized before that there alot of software in the programs folder that were preinstalled. These were the Vaio softwares, is there anyway I can obtain those?

You might be able to extract the installers from the recovery disk maybe. I think there's a method to do that but it might be a bit tricky from what I've read. I'm pretty sure there's a thread about it on here.

No need to extract them from the recovery disks. They contain an installer that lets you selectively install each one. Jarvcity, did you make a DVD system recovery set per the instructions packed with your VAIO?

With Vista running, pop in disk #1 from the set you made. You will get a menu with one of the options in that menu which will allow you to install drivers and applications. Select that and you will get a list of drivers on one tab and a list of apps on the second tab.

P.S. Note that not all of the apps will be there, but most of them are.
