I have a TZ11MN with Vista and wanted to install XP. The downgrade went perfect, I got everything from the Sony's website. But I wanted also to recover some applications, given that many are valuable software/
I successfully extracted all the *.pac files from the Application Recovery DVD
but I still miss the Roxio Easy Creator 9.
I copied and built the big WIM file from the splitted *.sny files in order to check if this image contains any Roxio files, but It seems to me the roxio il already "installed" into the image.
Is it possible to get this setup from somewhere?
Is it also possible that my DVD does not contain the *pac file for Roxio?
I tried also to copy and extract those *pac files from the hidden partition but they are the same saved in the DVDs

I recovered the serial key from the vista's registry so If I get the whole 500MB's ROXIO EasyCd Creator suite and I try to install, do I violate any agreement?

sorry if this seems to be a FAQ but I wasted the whole day searching for a possible solution.

    thanks

I don't know what kind of files you need to burn, but CDBurnerXP works well for the basics. It's free and easy to use. I use it myself after switching over from Nero which has become farty and bloated.

okay, but there also alternatives for the bundled AcrobatStandard, AdoboElements and WinDVD.. should we renounce to all of them?
anyhow, I just wanted to have this setup too like the others

    thanks

CutePDF, the Gimp and VideoLAN could be used as replacements. Perhaps you should contact Sony as I don't think they'll make these available for download.
