hi! unluckily i have problems with my sony vaio display and i will need to purchase a new one
could anyone advice me a good website where i can order a new display? i have the following vaio type: vpcz133gx
i'm based in europe (not sure if and how i could buy something from the us) i imagine that ordering it directly from vaio licensed shop in my city will cost me a fortune - i paid 100eur for a laptop charger there
    thanks for your help

thanks for the interest niffcreature and sorry for putting this thread in the wrong place. can i move it somehow where it should belong?
i was super helpful to check the links you gave me, i'll order from the vendor
when travelling i closed the lid of my computer expecting that, as usually, it will enter into sleeping mode, and put it among my things in the backpack. but the computer didn't switch off for some reasons and worked a couple of hours with no access to a proper ventilation. this resulted in a vertical line that appeared on my screen. it was still quite ok to use my laptop with it but after a couple of months from one line it expanded to not a particularly nice colourful geometric figure that now covers 1/3 of my screen. so i'm afraid it is not really something i can fix.
a moral of the story is that it's worth double checking each time when you close the lid, expecting the computer to stop working, and putting it somewhere where it doesn't get a proper ventilation
