    which vaio model for me

    I need to buy a vaio model 15.4 to 16.4. I need it most for surfing the internet,like to watch Utube videos ,some family video editing, watching some dvds and some light games.
    I travel everyday from my house to my shop with the laptop just five miles with my car.
    My budget about 1000$ to 1200$. I just want a Sony vaio(not other brand sorry) but I do not know which model fits me. some help from the sony people, sorry for my english

    VAIO FW series seems to meet your needs; im not sure which specific version is available in your region. But, the FW is basically designed for everything you mention.

    yeah vaio FW i think. it is quite a light laptop. the best all rounder (imo) is the Z-series. in case you're wondering.

    To tell you the true I was thinking of the FW series
    here we have the vgn FW11M the FW11ZU and also the FW21M and FW21Z
    I do not know if 11 or 21 is the best, what do you think

    Definitely get FW11ZU. It's the perfect choice. You are going to get XBlack Double Lamp/HiColor at 1600x900. The FW21Z also has Double Lamp/HiColor but at 1920x1080. That resolution is too high for a 16.4". 1600 is better for that screen at that size. Both models come with ATI Radeon HD 3650.

    I wish I could buy that model in the US. Here in the US, we are stuck with HD 3470. There are HD 3650 but the screen that come with them do not meet my need. I either have to choose the one at 1920x1080 or lower 1600x900 but the 1600 is an ECO Screen (Single Lamp). Neither screen meets my need. 1920 is too high. ECO Screen color is washed out.
