Topic. I'm thinking of getting the TZ but not now since I already have an SZ. Hoping for more memory on the SSD of the next gen TZ.

I don't know, but guessing I would say there will be updates. The design is so spectacular imo.

Yeah, you don't go through R&D and come up with a new design to only use it for one model.

hard to say. look at the X505. it is considered such a revolutionary design for its time, but I haven't seen any updates for it. I hope there will be updates for the TZ especially next gen platforms and CPUs and it will surely spurr more interest in ultra portable machines.

I totally love my TZ as an aesthetic and as a working piece of technology.

I have it for about 1 1/2 weeks now, I have not yet fully optimized it yet.

For the future, I'm hoping for an easily upgradeable/replaceable, can you spell retro-fit-able,

higher capacity SSD to come from SONY in the next generation....

    yep dream on, pilgrim

Yes, it is a shame the X505 was never refreshed. :(

Now when are they going to refresh the UX series!?

No new on any ULV processors, except for the ULV Core 2 Solos launching later this year.
