    Hey

If anyone has had experience with this that would be great. I just installed windows 7 on my SR190. The fn volume keys work but my brightness keys don't. Also, the vaio mode switch isn't starting up. something about application failure. Is there a specific order for the driver installation?

    thanks.

install the driver by this order, utilities, utilities update, shared library, firmware extention parson, hdd protection, both memory card drivers, bluetooth, fingerprint scanner driver, audio drive, then go to ati and download 9.5 mobility radeon, you dont have to mod the drivers anymore, you can just use the mobility ones. Good luck, tell if your results.

I had the same problem, to fix it you have to run the mode switch app in compatibility mode for windows vista.

To do that, go to C:\Program Files\Sony\VAIO Mode Switch and right click VMswitch.exe go to the compatibility tab and check to run for windows vista (sp2) and run as administrator.

Mode switch is working flawlessly here, hope it fixes any problems you had.
