I recently uninstalled intel's pro/wireless utility and now I can't get either of those utilities to work. The lan switch won't work at all, everytime i try to open it, task manager says it immediately shuts off and is currently leaving my bt on, wasting a lot of battery.
As for the hdd protection, I can't seem to get it to work even on performance settings. It only seems to recognize the Z orientation and only seems to work with the program opened. I have to all but bang on my computer for it to register otherwise, and without the program on. Please let me know if you guys have a fix because I can't seem to find one searching the forums.
I tried to reinstall the lan switch to no avail =/
edit: I forgot to mention that I have the sz260p/c model

I got the wifi issue fixed by installing smartwi but my next question is this, it automatically signed me up for the cingular wan, or so it says. I dont think the 260p/c even has an antenna. Anyway, i clicked on the check activation button and it says it's been submitted and processing. Is there a way I can find out for sure? Cause I really don't feel like calling cingular and getting the roundabouts from them. I didn't type in any personal info or anything or even approve anything. What course of action should I take at this time?
