The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Just found this website which claims to be giving away free laptops? Highly doubt it, but theres nothing to lose i guess. Just thought id mention this before it ends.. :confused: Heres the link to the promotion page..

    Sonyvaios.com is just another wordpress site(aka a blog). To draw in traffic or as part of an advertising contract, they run promotional ads that promise free laptops. When a naive person signs up, the best they can hope to get is email spam...the worst is identity theft(you are giving them your name, zip code where you live phone number etc).
