i'm considering buying a sony S150 and i love the look of the xbrite screen. i'm wondering what your experiences are with it when word processing. is it easier on the eyes? or does the glossiness of it and potential glare make it harder on the eyes? how does it compare to other screens you've worked on in the past? i am prone to eye strain and want to get the best possible screen for my eyes.

    anniebee,

I'm using Word a lot as well, and I like the XBrite screen. I set the brightness to one step below maximum and that works well for me. The glossiness is not an issue and pictures look so much better compared to conventional displays. Overall I feel less eye strain after working on it the entire day.

I have the A170 though, you might check out the keyboard of the S series, I didn't like that it flexes in the center.

I am a recent enhanced display convert and absolutely love it. You can resolve most glare by just changing the angle of the display slightly.
