This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     I am an avid user of the Stealth setting in Yahoo! Messenger, however, I want to use an integrated software which allows me to use the messaging function of Yahoo! Messenger and Google Talk but also has these features:
    - Stealth setting in Yahoo Messenger (Invisibility, Permanently Offline, Permanently Online) - what I mean is one where I can just right click on a friend and set my status to be seen permanently offline on him/her.
    - Groups and Naming follows the names set through Yahoo! Messenger and Google Talk.
    - Able to send/receive files
    - Conference (Y!M) works without a problem
    - Twitter status updates, Facebook and mail notifications are plus points, but not required.
    - Forgot to add this before, but I want to able to choose which Yahoo! alias I want to use when I start a conversation with other people.

    I know there's a lot of multi-IM software like Digsby, Trillian, Pidgin, Miranda, instantbird. I've tried some of these and I just can't find them to my liking somehow. For example, Digsby stealth setting and file transfer are pretty much non existant, etc. Or maybe I just didn't find the right addons? If you can help me with these, I really appreciate it.
