Installing Superfetch into Windows XP, is it possible?
I know Windows XP is using prefetch instead of superfetch. Well, can superfetch can be installed to Windows XP too?

I've never heard of such a thing being possible, and the thread you linked to didn't even have any replies to confirm that it worked. How could Microsoft include such a registry key to a feature that they never even came up with at the time?

Agreed with Bog. Have you tested it out(Rodknee)? I might test it out sooner or later because my area is 3:48am now. LOL.
I know Vista can use superfetch and can be disabled using the registry trick or services.msc. I am wondering XP, if it can LOL.

Superfetch is a core Vista technology... codewise, XP is years behind. Why would you even think this possible?

Because I think Superfetch is a software instead of a hardware. So, I think it is possible to install it. Anyone have better idea on Superfetch on XP?? I haven't try Rodknee's trick yet. LOL.

Did you even read my post? Superfetch is tied into parts of Vista itself, it isn't a standalone piece of software. It's an OS component.

well, as long as I have a registry key from vista that I have 'installed' on XP, it then auto-magically installs any/all vista software/features then?

    Silly damned thought.

    Agreed.
Even the software provided by FrankTabletuser is not a FREEWARE.
However, we know that Superfetch on Windows XP is possible now.
    Cheer~

Supercache and Superfetch are not the same thing.
