Hi,
I use Digital certificates to access some work sites.. After migrating to Windows7, I no longer get popup prompt to pick a Digital Certificate?
It used to work in beta build, but in RC and previous build it is no longer works. Anyone know how to get it to work in RC?
TIA!

I routinely access OWA and other sites that require certificates, and I haven't had any problems so far. Are you using CAC access?
-
Yes, I use both CAC and soft-certs.
-
I assume your CAC reader is installed and working correctly? Did you install the required CAC software (like ActiveIdentity)? Are you using IE to access the websites? Are your certificates installed?
-
Yep, I use ActivClient 6.1 for CAC. I am actually using Soft-cert. It works perfectly fine in Windows XP (in my VMWARE), trying to find out why it is not working in W7 RC.
For some sites, not sure why the prompt 'Choose a digital certificate' doesn't popup.. seems to work for some sites though. -
Did you install in compatibility mode? In order for things to work, I had to unzip the archive, install the certs in Vista SP2 mode, then install ActiveCard in Vista SP2 mode. Once I rebooted, everything worked fine.
I have no experience with Soft-Cert, only with ActivClient. -
I didn't do any Compatibilty mode.. The ActivClient 6.1 reads my CAC fine w/o it.

Right click on the install application, select compatibility, and choose Vista SP2.
I access DoD websites, and I have to install DoD certs. Everything I need is included in the archive provided to me. -
same here.. DoD

I'd uninstall everything, then follow the install instructions in that thread.
