This is not really that big a flaw....i mean we at NBR know some more flaws that IE simply sux!
it lags, it crashes, it is unsafe & especially on Vista it can totally ruin your OS ..because every malicious software gets deep rooted in your OS via IE.
I suggest to Mods this article remain in this section as it is more of a discussion backed up by 'news article'
Thanks!
Btw ... Who all have tried IE8 beta ???

You know what kills OS's? IE doesn't kill OS's. Unsafe browsing kills OS's. Clicking on random, questionable links kills OS's. IE can be exploited. Firefox can be exploited. Safari can be exploited. Chrome can apparently even be exploited.
If you put unquestionable, perfect faith and trust in your browser to protect you.. from you.. you will learn the hard truth, one way or another. -
... I have used Chrome(which I hate), I have used Firefox which when run with my assistive tecnology is very unstable and frequently crashes, and I have used IE7 (I don't have time to beta test sorry) and it works by far the best. It maybe a memory pig... but looking at current memory prices no one can complain about it...

1. IE7, Google Chrome (Beta)
2. Firefox
How do u say it?...'nuff said!
who ever voted against IE are losers!Last edited by a moderator: May 8, 2015 -

For some reason whenever I use IE, my video streams (youtube, google video, myspace video) all lag whenever i run the mouse over the window. But this dosn't happen in firefox...so that influenced me to prettymuch dropkick IE into the bucket. Can't have video skipping while i'm trying chat on IM or do my homework.

Never really had much of a complaint with MSIE; then again, I'm not the most persnickety of users, nor the most sophisticated.

being as though I rely on browsers for my job IE7 crashing all the time turned me off, but Im hopeful that IE8 will fix that issue. Even if it doesnt I always have my trusty ol' FF.

IE7 cannot be removed from Vista...to solve any IE7 problem u gotta re-install Vista..
thats a big problem. -
IE 7 does the job for me, better than FF3 and Google Chrome. Still some sites with full page flash animations crash with FF3. IE 7 FTW.

Ff3 >>>>> Ie

It's not a bad browser...though the security issues are huge, since most people have no idea about not clicking on popups, etc. In addition, since I'm a web developer/designer...IE makes my job tough sometimes.

Tried the rest....IE7 IMHO is still the best.
Chrome lasted all of 10mins.
