    'Windows has blocked some startup programs' notification

    OK so I disabled a few programs from running at start up but now every time i do start up I get this annoying notification.....any ideas on how to disable it?

    depeding on what message is being displayed, there is an option to tell to to not show up again at the bottom left side of the notification window. if not then good luck to you because I haven't been able to get rid of those kind myself. I just ignore them and hope they go away

    holy hell same with me i just click the X every single time it pops up. and sometimes it pops up randomly. not just once every restart. it is so damn annoying. i dont know how to get rid of it other than defaulting startup.

    Yeah, this happens to me also. I guess Vista doesn't like having start-up programs being blocked.

    What you could do is download CCleaner, and use it's tool to delete the start-up entry.

    Right click>Run blocked programs>Check "Don't show this at startup">Done

    well mcgradys post was the solution, andyhuynhs post was disabling uav. if you just do what mcgrady said you would not have to disable uav unless you really don't want it on.

    lol, yeah you just disabled a LOT more than just that startup message. If you're interested in keeping Windows' security features on, go back and turn UAC back on and try one of the other solutions mentioned.

    Actually Blocking is Done By Windows Defender When it Finds any non-certified programs trying to start with windows ... and for this you just need to verify it and allow it run it Windows Defender .
