The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    (NHC) Notebook Hardware Controll - Impossible to reinstall/upgrade?

    I tried to go from beta 9 to beta 10 and got an error. I then tried to go back to beta 9 and got another error. After uninstalling I rebooted my machine and also ran a registry cleaner application and verified the program folder was removed prior to upgrading. But I still get errors and the application wont load.

    BTW I have the latest .net framework and even downloaded the installation that they linked to rom their site. No go :/

    Does anyone else have this problem or a fix?
