Anybody else having problems using Windows Media Player to sync media to a portable device?

i have a Creative Zen Vision: M, and on my XP PC, I used Windows Media Player to sync to it, and i just had it sync the auto playlists, 'all music' and 'all pictures'. it worked very well, with no problems at all. None.

Now on Vista, it works like s***. For one, there are for some damn reason, no auto playlists. so i had to create one myself, and even then it shows as a personal playlist. fine, whatever. at least it will sync all my music.

it does it fine. but then today, i ripped a new cd and thought i'd sync so it would copy. windows media player acts like its the first time i plugged the device in. says it syncs with another library. ok so i click sync with this library. fine. then it starts copying my crap. it copys music to the device, music that is ALREADY ON THE DEVICE, it just duplicates everything!!! so i could 1. search through the files to find the duplicate files and delete them one by one, or 2. delete all tracks and re-sync hoping that it will work properly. i'm starting to fkdjsafk;ljadsk;lfjaskldfj wonder if i should continue using my old computer just to sync my damn music. this is effin ridiculous....

Aren't you happy to be an early adopter of technology that goes out of it's way to treat you like a criminal?

Wish I could help, but I don't use any of the above hardware or software. I'd personally go back to XP if I were you.
