    0xc0000225 error and cannot create Win 8 recovery disk

    Hi guys,
    I just bought a new ASUS a week ago and was using EASEUS partition master to clean up the partitioning. I've used this before and it was great. I ran into a 0xc0000225 error upon restarting and you can't do much of anything. After looking around online it seems this is fixable with a Windows 8 boot CD, which of course is no longer shipped with the machines. On my older machine I tried 5 times to make it via USB sticks (32GB so plenty of space) and then to a DVD, using this "mediacreationtool" from official MS page here link here:

    None of it worked saying either there was not enough room on the USB (nonsense) or the ISO did not download properly. I am really stumped what to do next here. Any thoughts are welcome. Thanks.
