    Hey guys... having some problem..

I had recently gone on vacations back to hometown & used to connect to wicked ISP's..the ISP has a bad reputation for having issues with Security in default gateway.

These days i have noticed i am getting atleast 1 BSOD per day... tried running a Malware scan but found no such significant malware.

    What could be the problem?

Recently i left my computer with close lid on all nite & the temperature reached 86 Degree celcius.

Do u think some of my hardware has been damaged?

if yes then how to check for hardware damage?

If your laptop is getting that hot from just idling with the lid closed, it's pretty plausible that the BSODs are from overheating issues. Try blowing your fans to dislodge dust clogging them. Which components are getting really hot? Is your laptop still under warranty?

What are the BSOD codes? If you can make a note of them that'd help narrow the problem down.

Although I would say that 86 degress celcius =

86 degrees is not much compared to the 100-110 that some games can pull.

Yea but your computer shouldn't be IDLING at 86 degrees. And the OP didn't specify which component is at 86 degrees.

100-110 C is practically impossible for a computer. At least if you want it to work.

86C idle is definitely too hot. Read the cooling guide and see if anything in there helps you.
