    1 min Windows boot after windows 10 upgrade but safemode only 5 sec boot

    Hi , i have my windows os installed on my ssd when i was at windows 8.1 my boot time is only 3-5 seconds now i upgrade to windows 10 my boot time takes so long .. i tried using safe mode and it boots so fast .. is there something i can disabled on msconfig microsoft service that causing the long boot?

    Check your startup programs in task manager to see which ones have a high impact and selectively disable the ones that you don't need.

    Also, if you did a direct upgrade to Windows 10, I would just run the reset feature of Windows 10.

    Settings > Update & security > Reset this PC > Get started and choose to keep your files. You will have a clean install with all your documents saved, just your apps and drivers removed. It's a fast process and it stops you from having any other issues down the line (which is almost always a guarantee with an upgrade versus a clean install).

    hi, I cant do the rest so I just use clean install . I have nothing on startup taskmanager now and it still booting so long .. I'm using uefei and gpt on my windows... because I'm using upgrade video card on my laptop which 980m so only uefei works on me

    What do you mean you can't do the reset? Is it giving you an error? The reset is seriously the easiest way to get a clean install without losing any data. Just apps and settings.

    it said there a problem doing reset .... i just do clean install again using the media recovery tool but it still the same ... is it because im using uefei not legacy ? and im using it on gpt disk?

    10 is made for UEFI and GPT, that's not the issue. Sounds like Windows 10 doesn't like something in your machine.
