    Windows Ubuntu XP...

Don't attempt to do anything outside of just using the system. Do NOT attempt to install an operating system, it will result in a horrible catastrophe. If you truly wish to use anything but the standard OS, please pay someone else to do it.

I think what Lithius meant to say is that installing an operating system can be complicated. If you have never done it before, as it seems evident, then you need to proceed with caution.

If you make mistakes while altering partitions or installing the OS your computer will be unusable, until done properly. So it is important that you fully understand the procedure and how to deal with problems you may encounter prior to attempting it.

There are many problems even people who have done this hundreds of times run into.

Are you really sure you need to switch to XP? Try out Vista for a while. You might learn to like it.

right. if you delete vista and wipe your current hard drive completely clean, your computer will not be usable until you successfully install an operating system.

its not that hard, but you should definitely use google to get a step by step how to

windows xp corporate does exist- but its a hacked copy and so illegal. If you lack pc expertise, you could try using the ship it service from ubuntu https://shipit.ubuntu.com/

Yeah, you can use the XP CD to get rid of the Vista partition and install the OS.

    Thread closed.

Windows corporate is commonly found on torrent sites and thus discussion is not allowed. I suggest that you continue to use Vista(its pretty good for most users) or install Ubuntu(you can keep vista and dual boot with ubuntu. If you really want to use XP, then buy a copy legally.
