    2 strange errors in Vista 64 Bit Help please

    1) When I go to the personalization menu in control panel, it says Page Failed to Load. I restarted alot but no help.

    2) Cannot add favorite via the favorites menu. I installed IE 8 now, but still cannot add favorites?

    how to fix this?

    . Got a restore point? Tried it first?

    . Never had any lucks with IE8 under Vista. Did you get the correct version for Vista 64bits? Last time I checked, it is not yet being made available.

    Did this happen before installing IE8 or after? If after, see below. If before then I would suggest trying a Windows Repair using your Vista disc.

    First try uninstalling IE8, via the Windows Updates in Add/Remove Programs. Once IE8 is removed see if you can add favorites. If not, try reinstalling IE7 first or a Windows Repair.

    Fwiw, I have had zero problems using IE8 with Vista64.

    I downloaded the 64 bit version of IE 8. And you guys don't seem to get it? I told you the problem occured before even installing IE8

    Anyway, I uninstalled this POS Vista, back to teh trust wortheh XP PRO FTW
