    Hi All,

I have a weird problem going on and I was hoping someone might have some insight as to why. Every so often when I hover over open programs that are pinned to my taskbar and Aero Peek activates, the entire screen will freeze for a couple of seconds. Is there something specific I can look into to stop this from happening?

    Thanks

What specs does the computer have?
How many applications do you have running when it happens?
Are you running any programs in the background when it happens?
    Try defragging your HD?

First thing comes to mind is that you have to much running at one time, and not enough RAM.

Aero uses your graphics RAM for all of the programs running. If you don't have much dedicated graphics memory, you could be running over it and sending it to cache, which is what will cause that lag.

I get exactly the same issue. I am using a new Lenovo X201 Core i7 system with 4GB of RAM and also have the same issue as hbkmga! Any ideas?

I have the X201 as well--there's an updated driver Lenovo released a little while back that solved my issue. It should show up to download if you run the Lenovo system update utility.
