For all you on 2.0.171.0 who have found that you can no longer hightlight text then right click, to bring up the copy/paste etc menu, you need to, hold the right mouse button down, then highlight the text with left button, then release the left button, then release the right mouse button. After that you will be able to copy the highlighted text.

I know its beta but why, oh why have they changed it so you have to do this? I hope the final version will be back to normal.

That does seem quite cumbersome. Aren't there a place on their site where you leave your feedback directly, so they can change that?

Is there any particular reason why they design the function like that?

My thinking is that they changed it for a reason, and that the more people who complain about something, the more likely it is to be changed. We might both be right (or wrong), though :)

There are always very 'unique' problems with Chrome.

I've just discovered that if you highlight a word as you would do normally, then hold the right mouse button down, then move the mouse slightly, releasing the right mouse button brings up the copy menu.
Seems a tad easier than the other way.
