Anyway to allow my 2670qm to allow full speed onboard intel HD 3000 graphics speed, yet NOT turboboost the cpu itself? Or limit how high it turbo boosts?

My GPU sits at 650mhz and wont upclock unless I enable turbo mode, but then my processor runs very toasty. So hoping to be abel to keep my cpu at 2.2ghz clock, but allow the graphics to go full speed?

btw its not a repaste issue or cleaning fan issue, I put a 45w i7 in my T420 that's made only for a 35w. Been running like this for years, but now playing World of Warcraft on it, and would benefit greatly from increased GPU speed

Go to power settings then advanced settings under whichever power plan you are using then set max CPU frequency to 99%. That prevents CPU turbo on some models and it should let the GPU turbo when needed like usual. If that doesn’t work you probably need to use something like ThrottleStop.

Even normally in GPU intensive situations the CPU will/should usually favor the IGPU clock frequency over the CPU cores regardless.
