what anti virus and other programs do you have running in the background
some of them doesn't work or needs a patch for sp1 -
NOD32 ver2.7
Threatfire Anti-malware
Comodo Firewall
these 3. -

Look into the Event Viewer logs and the WER logs, too.

i tried nod32 3.0 and it work fairly good dont know about 2.7
im using comodo firewall
try too run it i safe mode and see if it will crash -
You should consider a clean install .
Meaning SP1 after a clean install of Vista. It will clear up all the issues. -

check event viewer and see what the specific problem was
can you recreate the problem under certain circumstances? -
Did you just update to sp1? Or did a fresh reinstall?
-
Lol.
This reminds me of police re-enacting car crashes, lol. -
Check for updated drivers for your webcam and audio card.
-
Make sure that only one firewall is running. I am using nod32 2.7 with Windows firewall and its super stable. No problems at all.

I updated ALL my drivers... except video drivers..
Can u recommend me a stable video driver for go 6100?
currently i am using 167 series..which is very unpopular but i got via WU too,
Man i ve been trusting Windows update all the time..maybe thats what is screwing me? -
Try another driver dude, 167.x is ancient history.
Forget about WU, only get MS updates from there... -
do NOT get any drivers from WU, it tends to give you the wrong drivers making everything crash or not work. Only use WU for ms updates.
Always download from the HP website. -
My WU it always tell me that I have the best driver, so I never listen to it.
-
I wouldn't go as far as to say "never get a driver from WU". Windows Update looks for the driver tested as stable with the current version of your OS plus all hardware and updates. If you say eff it, and go with the latest and greatest, you may find that a driver conflicts with another update you did. The only times I've personally seen that was with a Bluetooth driver and sound card driver for my last laptop.
It's unlikely that a driver from WU would be the sole cause of the crash, but it doesn't hurt to try the latest update for the devices and see if they are more stable. A lot of times drivers become more stable with later releases, but MS has not had a chance to test them thoroughly. -
The question is, how does WU for example knows what's the best driver for your video card? It goes to nvidia and nidia says, nope, go to see compal, and compal says nope I don't have it, then vista comes back and says "you have the best driver". There is no way for vista know which one is the best driver.

So are u suggest a Laptopvideo2go driver?
