As you can see in the pic below, I have 3 Microsoft Visual C++ installs... one is a x64 bit version, but I have 2 regular ones?

Can I uninstall one of them (The older version *look at the dates) or do I need the multiple installs

I will obviously keep the x64 version

    Thanks

Could be a compatibility install for different OS's

I'd be careful about that in case the x64 installation relies on dlls or other files that were installed under one of the (I assume) earlier installations. You might check with MS to see if there are any quirks about uninstalling an earlier version of a Visual Studio product after installing a later one. You might have to uninstall all three and then do a clean install of the x64 copy.

I just have vista Home Premium 64 installed.

    If that helps.

Any more advice on this issue is appreciated? anyone else with vista home premium 64bit with 3 of these?

if i were you i would keep them as some of your apps may use those files and they take up hardly any space.
